Terms of Service
Effective 4 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Kid Neon Creative (ABN 62 857 254 488) of Geelong, Victoria, Australia ("we", "us") for the use of StudioOS (app.kidneon.com.au). By using StudioOS you agree to them.
1. The service — and its beta status
StudioOS is studio-management software for creative and professional service teams. It is currently in beta: features may change, be added or removed, and occasional interruptions or bugs are expected. We'll treat your data carefully and communicate about material changes, but during beta the service is provided on an "as available" basis.
2. Accounts
Keep your login credentials secure and your account information accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for people — no sharing a single login across a team.
3. Your data
Your studio's content belongs to your studio. You grant us the licence needed to host, process, back up and display it — solely to provide the service. We don't sell it and we don't use it for advertising. On termination you can request an export of your studio's data within 30 days.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use StudioOS to break the law, infringe others' rights, or store malicious code; don't probe, overload or attempt to bypass security (including row-level access controls); don't resell or reverse-engineer the service.
5. AI features and financial records
StudioOS's AI assistants generate suggestions and summaries — they can be wrong. Review AI output before relying on it. Financial features (including the BAS Simulator) are record-keeping and preparation aids only: they are not tax, legal or financial advice, and they do not lodge anything with the ATO or any authority. Confirm figures with your accountant or registered tax agent.
6. Third-party services
Optional integrations (such as Google Calendar) are governed by their own terms. Calendar access is read-only and can be disconnected at any time in Settings.
7. Fees
StudioOS beta access is free unless we agree otherwise with your studio in writing. Paid plans, if introduced, will be communicated in advance — nothing converts to paid silently.
8. Intellectual property
We own StudioOS — the software, design and branding. Feedback you give us about the product may be used to improve it without obligation.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect and consequential loss, and our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or AUD $100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law; where a statutory guarantee applies, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using StudioOS and ask us to close your studio's account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 3, 8 and 9 survive termination.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
